Applying for a Czech Republic Schengen Visa from Russia

The Czech Republic maintains extensive visa restrictions for Russian nationals.

As of August 2026, Russian citizens generally cannot lodge Czech visa or residence applications except under listed exemptions. Czechia also does not permit entry for Russian citizens travelling on Schengen visas for tourism, sport or culture.

Applying for a Danish Schengen Visa from Russia

Denmark has a VFS infrastructure in Russia, but the Danish VFS site continues to display a notice that the embassy and Danish visa centres in Russia do not receive visa and residence applications until further notice because of staffing limitations.

Applicants must confirm whether that notice has changed before preparing a Denmark file.

Applying for an Estonian Schengen Visa from Russia

Estonia restricts visa applications from Russian citizens.

Applications are accepted only for specifically exempted categories, including defined close-family, residence and other qualifying cases.

Ordinary tourism should not be treated as an available Estonian application route.

Applying for a Finnish Schengen Visa from Russia

Finland restricts non-essential travel by Russian citizens and states that tourism visa applications affected by those restrictions are not accepted.
